  • This is the story of filmmaker Brian Harrison's childhood heroes: The Von Erich Brothers. It tells of the small Dallas promotion run by Fritz Von Erich in the 1980's that became the innovator of professional wrestling's worldwide exposure via television syndication.
    With his three oldest sons as the franchise stars, WCCW was one of the most syndicated shows in the world, until a string of shocking tragedies drove the family and the promotion down a path no one could have imagined. Today one Von Erich, Kevin, remains, his four younger brothers among the stars who found a tragic end in the downfall of World Class.

  • The Von Erichs were the All-American Golden Boys of Professional Wrestling from the late 1970s to mid 1980s. The brothers followed their father, Fritz, who was a famous pro wrestler during the early years of the sport. Their success and incredible popularity left an extraordinary legacy on the world of wrestling. They were to become THE family dynasty of professional wrestling, until one by one, they began to meet with tragic and untimely deaths. Today, Kevin Von Erich is the last remaining of the brothers. After 19 years in the ring, Kevin is releasing footage for the fans in the upcoming release of THE BEST OF THE VON ERICHS.   • The most famous wrestling family released this commercial video release back in the late 80s. This was released AFTER the death of David Von Erich and before Kerry’s death. All the boys have interviews and highlights from the Von Erich ranch are spread throughout the video, which is hosted by Fritz Von Erich.

    The most notable match contained on this tape is the NWA Title match between Kerry Von Erich and Ric Flair at the First Annual David Von Erich Parade of Champions from May 6, 1984 inside of a jam-packed Texas Stadium.
